canibecandid:

His skin burned with the intensity of the comets that were streaming across him and he knew that she could feel it as well, judging by the way her breathing sped up and the way she lightly stroked the inside of her arm.Tears sat on the brim of her lashes and she blinked them away hurriedly, squeezing his hand. “But you were so beautiful. Just like I always knew you would be.” She says it while her other hand comes to his face and traces the plumes and flares of green and yellow he knew existed because of his former usage, her thumb running over his bottom lip and he closes his eyes and revels in the feel and sensation of her touch.Sherlock ran a hand from her shoulder and down the length of her arm, absorbing her patterns to his memory. Beautiful, she was so heart-achingly beautiful, as his shaking hands cupped her face and drew her forward. Slivers, blues, purples flecked up to her cheeks to meet his touch. Comets skipping from his arms to hers, or maybe it was the other way around? Did it matter? His lips slanted over hers and he could feel the waves of the mock solar-flares covering them both.

The Fairy Call
A spell for summoning the fairies
Sit where the cat sits.
Cross your toes.
Close your eyes.
And smell a rose.
Then say under your breath:
"I believe in fairies,
sure as death.”
Gadflykins! Gladtrypins!
Gutterpuss and Cass!
Come to me fairily
Each lad and lass!

Tiny Blue Book Brooch Tardis Doctor Who. Miniature book

To achieve it we inspired by the 10th episode of the third season where the Doctor Who explains who he is and what are the time travel (“People assume That time is a strict progression of cause to effect. But actually from a non-linear, non-Subjective viewpoint it’s more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey … stuff. “).On the back of the book there is also a tiny Tardis: the ship and the Doctor’s time machine that takes the form of a blue box of the British police, but don’t let its size fool you because it’s much bigger on the inside (with pool and a library!).Like the others “book brooches” you can open and browseThe miniature is a real book and measuring 2x2 cm, is closed with bronze wire

amandapalmer:

as some of you have seen unfold on here, my book - “THE ART OF ASKING” - is officially DONE. inspired by my TED talk and also sort of a memoir, i’ve been doing almost nothing else since january…but after months of intense writing, editing, and reading aloud for the audiobook, it soon finds its way to you and i’ll embark on a little signing tour in support of it. i can’t wait for you to hopefully read (or listen).
it’s about…everything.
and it’s COMING OUT on NOVEMBER 11th (in hardcover, e-reader, and audiobook formats).
and HERE IS THE COVER. i think it’s beautiful.
if you wanna know how i ended up naked and getting my body painted by a bunch of LA artists (with allan amato shooting the whole thing), i wrote a blog about the MAKING OF the cover. it’s HERE on my site.
p.s. as mentioned, i will be doing a HUGE BOOK-SIGNING TOUR in the states this fall. i’ll announce dates alongside pre-order info for SIGNED copies, SOON via THE GOLDEN, HOLY MAILING LIST and my blog. if you don’t want to hold out for a written-on-by-me copy, pre-order info is up now at amandapalmer.net. more soon. LOVE.

I’m waiting for this book….
